DAY FOURTEEN - “Is this not the fast that I have chosen…
Then you shall call and the LORD will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am” (Isaiah 58:6&9).
You shall call to the LORD and He will answer you — QUICKLY!
It is marvelous to have prayers answered. And you will find your prayers answered more quickly when you fast – as well as directly after you fast.
Have any of you found this to be true yet?
Pray During Mealtime–instead of eating food
Instead of eating a meal, take your Bible and journal and go into a quiet place to commune with the Lord today.
Invest some time in praising and thanking the Lord, worshiping Him, and then speaking with Him very intimately one-on-one with those things which concern you. Expect a quick reply when you are fasting. Your sensitivity to His voice and leading is heightened when you fast.
Call on the Lord and He will say, “Here I Am!” Thank You, Lord!
I have found, however, that if we do not call on Him, He will not *impose* Himself on us. Call on the Lord–He is not holding anything from you, but He has been holding many things FOR you. Just ask.
